The kids and I were able to tag along with Brad as he headed north of LA to Oxnard to check on one of his offices. We left on Thursday evening and came back on Saturday.
We spent Friday morning swimming at the very well heated hotel pool. It was pretty empty and I think Ty would have spent the whole day swimming. After Brad was done working we headed to the beach. It was windy and a little chilly for my tastes but the kids had lots of fun running away from the surf, playing in the sand, and collecting seashells.
Later that night we headed to the Channel Island Harbor and walked around the marina. There are actually little islands right off the coast you can take a boat to and explore. Maybe on our next trip to Oxnard we will try that out.
